A qualified barrister with more than 30 years of experience, James has worked across legal (Baker McKenzie), academic & non-profit (Crown Agents, Imperial College London, ODI, University of Oxford, Yale University), business (Climate Change Capital, Octopus-ORIT, Pollination Global, Solarcentury, Systemiq, Tulchan), Government (UK Prime Minister’s Business Advisory Group, COP22, COP23 Presidency Secretariat, COP26 - UN Climate Change Conference), and advisory roles (AVAIO Capital, Blue Marine Foundation, GFI, IDH, IP Group, Neste, Smart Surfaces Coalition), James is uniquely placed to advise on the complex challenges that hinder progress to a more sustainable future.
