BwB spoke at the Yorkshire & Humber Climate Commission

BwB Vice President, Christine Zhou, took part in a panel session hosted by the Yorkshire & Humber Climate Commission this week on Delivering Impact Through Finance & Investment.

The session explored different ideas through which the region could look to mobilise finance and investment for action on nature and climate, in a way that supports a just transition. Christine presented the work we have been doing to develop the Net Zero Neighbourhood model, an innovative funding and delivery mechanism to scale up retrofit, whilst supporting broader community regeneration.

“It was great to meet the team, hear about some of the initiatives being explored and contribute to the ongoing discussions Yorkshire & Humber are having to explore how the region can match finance to fundable propositions.”, commented Christine.
