Energy is the driving force of modern societies and, with the sector contributing to nearly two- thirds of all greenhouse gas emissions, the energy transition to a net-zero carbon future is a fundamental part of effective response to the climate crisis. Although renewable energy financing has increased exponentially over the past decade, we still face a major challenge in creating sustainable energy systems that meet the needs of modern society.
BwB works with national and city administrations, as well as local authorities to identify opportunities for attracting and scaling investment into low-carbon and efficient energy systems. We apply our financial innovation expertise to the energy sector to develop financing methods that can scale new sustainable energy production and related battery storage and grid management. We have extensive experience in the development, structuring and financing of a range of conventional and unconventional renewable energy solutions.
Our work is supported by extensive networks within infrastructure finance and low-carbon venture and accelerator funds to support earlier stage innovation and longer-term deployment.
