Chris Gordon

Kenya

Chris has worked in the biodiversity conservation sector for over 20 years, first as a conservation manager running projects in Ethiopia, Kenya, Namibia, and Indonesia. During this time, Chris served for five years as the Kenya Country Director for the Zoological Society of London. Currently, Chris is the co-founder and Managing Director of Conservation Alpha, who focus on developing strategic impact-driven programmes, and sourcing financing, for large-scale conservation projects. Chris was part of the team that built out the World Bank-issued Wildlife Conservation Bond, a $150m issuance that supports rhino conservation in two protected areas in South Africa. Chris holds an MSc from the University of Oxford.
