Christina Geijer
Kenya
Christina has spent 20 years working across the conservation sector, most recently focusing on innovative nature finance structures to support the protection of marine megafauna. Her academic background includes research into whale migrations, interactions with the fishing and shipping industries, marine protected areas, and ocean governance and law. Beyond the marine environment, she has worked extensively in terrestrial conservation across Africa, focusing on issues such as the illegal wildlife trade, community-based conservation, and nature-based solutions. She holds a BA and MPhil from the University of Cambridge, and an MSc and PhD from University College London.
