Rosemary is an ESG, sustainability and corporate legal professional with over 20 years’ experience in delivering effective ESG, legal and compliance advice to Boards and Management across a variety of sectors in East and West Africa including in-house legal roles in capital markets, insurance, and higher education. She spent a decade in Private Equity investing in manufacturing, heavy equipment leasing, agribusiness, financial institutions, healthcare, and tech at Catalyst Principal Partners and CarePoint (formerly Africa Health Holdings).


Rosemary is a member of Association of Sustainability Practitioners in Kenya (ASPK), The Boardroom Africa, Women on Boards Network, Kenya, Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS), Kenya, and Law Society of Kenya (LSK). She is also a mentor and coach with Global Give Back Circle (GGBC) (a Mentorship Program designed to help at- risk girls continue their education and embrace economic freedom) and is Special Adviser to EG Capital (a female-led fund deploying capital in the Food, Climate, Health, and Education sectors in some of the world's fastest growing economies in Africa.).


Rosemary is a 2022 awardee of the Diligent Modern Governance 100 in the ESG, Diversity & Climate Trailblazer category; and a 2021 awardee of the Top 10 in the Angaza Awards: Women to watch in banking & finance.  Rosemary holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from University of Wales (now Aberystwyth University), is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a Certified Secretary.
