Building the Future, Together - BwB Team Retreat 2025 in Portugal

Last month, the BwB global team gathered in Portugal for a week of reflection, connection, and shaping future action. 

As a financial innovator working at the intersection of sustainability, systemic change, and scaled positive impact, taking time to strategise and set new ambitions together is essential. 

Through collaborative small-group sessions, peer-learning workshops, and future-focused discussions, we explored how BwB can continue to deliver on its mission: mobilising capital for good and designing solutions that drive transformational, equitable change.

Knowledge-sharing across global projects and regional hubs 

Recharging through shared meals and nature walks ☀️ 

Heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Africa Capital Hub (ACH) Advisory Board members Mahmoud Mohieldin (ACH Chair) and Vera Songwe, BwB Global Expert Group member Aban Marker Kabraji, and special guest Scott Trowbridge of Stability AI for joining us and sharing their insights across their respective fields of expertise. Their tremendous knowledge and contributions greatly enriched our discussions and strategic planning.
