Building Europe's Resilient Future, City by City

ree

BwB was delighted to join EURegionsWeek 2025 in Brussels, where cities, regions, and expert practitioners from across Europe came together to exchange ideas and accelerate progress on building a resilient, secure, and prosperous future for communities. An event highlight was celebrating 10 new cities achieving the EU Mission Label for their credible, investment-ready strategies to reach climate neutrality by 2030. With these new additions, the total number of Mission Labelled Cities now stands at 103. “Seeing so many cities step forward with clear, actionable plans for decarbonisation shows the momentum building behind Europe’s climate transition. Collaboration and capital mobilisation are key to turning their ambitions into action,” comments Renata Haseth, BwB Vice President. As a partner in the NetZeroCitiesEU platform, BwB is supporting this transition through the Climate City Capital Hub, which helps Mission Cities structure, finance, and deliver high-impact urban projects for a more resilient and sustainable future.
