BwB was delighted to join the 4th Arab Forum for Land and Climate in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, where this year’s theme, 'Land and Sea in Harmony: Pathways to the Blue Economy’, brought together more than 70 participants from 23 international, regional, and national organisations to explore how finance can drive sustainable coastal resilience. BwB Vice President, Renata Haseth, spoke on the panel ‘Financing Coastal Resilience: De-Risking Nature-Based Solutions’, sharing insights on how innovative financial mechanisms can help scale investment in NBS initiatives. “The Forum spotlighted the blue economy as a vital frontier for sustainable growth,” said Renata. “I was honoured to contribute to the dialogue and learn more about the impressive initiatives taking place across the region. ”Many thanks to the Arab Network For NGOs, The Arab Gulf Programme for Development (AGFUND), UNDP, and the League of Arab States - General Secretariat for hosting this important event.
