2025 was a year of new milestones, strong collaboration, and increased impact for BwB. From convening global leaders to supporting innovation on the ground, our work has continued to help shape the future of finance, cities, and sustainable development. Highlights include: Investor Roundtable at WEF, Davos – Aligning investors around impact and Africa, sparking conversations that direct capital to where it matters most. Bellagio Convening with Governments and Ministers – Cementing BwB’s position at the forefront of innovative finance and capacity building. City Fund Engagement with Leuven – Demonstrating the power of place-based investment models and the trust we’ve earned with municipal partners. InnovateUkraine Programme – Supporting enterprises developing innovative energy and decarbonisation solutions to drive Ukraine’s recovery, resilience, and long-term security. High-Impact Advisory Boards and Steering Committees – Deepening partnerships by welcoming international experts and leaders as advisers to our Africa and Europe Capital Hubs, guiding our strategy for scalable impact. Launch of the Adaptation Brief newsletter – Showcasing BwB’s leadership and commitment to innovative solutions in the adaptation space. "Looking ahead to 2026, growing global complexity and uncertainty only strengthen our determination to build on the excellent work we have achieved with our partners over the past year,” comments Rupesh Madlani, BwB CEO. “More than ever, there is a need to expand the space for collaboration and communication to tackle challenges around climate adaptation, equitable growth, and creating economic opportunity for all. This is what the firm and our people are dedicated to achieving. We enter the year with renewed commitment and drive to connect investors, cities, governments, and communities to deliver sustainable, innovative solutions at scale.”
