Reflections from Climate Week NYC: Key Takeaways and Emerging Opportunities

We're back from New York buzzing with energy, enthusiasm and new ideas after our action-packed Climate Week.

From insightful discussions on impact investing and engaging with leading change-makers, to hosting investor round table dinners and catching up with old friends, it was a week of expanding our network of potential collaborators and exploring new opportunities.

To share a taste of the key takeaways from the many events we attended:

Food Security: Investors should evaluate the implications of an imminent 'beyond 1.5-degree rise' climate scenario on portfolios and prepare to take appropriate actions, as countries face increasing serious food security challenges.

Nature & Sovereign Debt: Rising interest in sovereign debt issuances and the emergence of new data sources and indexes are creating new possibilities for investors who are focused on sustainability.

Biodiversity Credits: Improving capacity to measure impact of biodiversity initiatives on nature and ecosystems is accelerating the deployment of biodiversity credits and innovative new ways to structure such instruments.

Stay tuned here for more coverage of our Climate Week activities over the next few days, including details of our expert speaker panel experiences and our investor dinner sessions.
