Climate City Capital Hub - Project Intake Form​

The Climate City Capital Hub (“The Capital Hub”) has been created to provide technical assistance and help cities that received the EU Mission label to find capital needed for full implementation of their Climate Action projects. By completing this form, you are initiating project uptake and diagnostic by the Capital Hub and thus, taking an important step towards accessing ample resources and tailored expertise to facilitate access to finance for your selected NZC projects.

Necessary steps:

  1. Based on your NZC Action and Investment plan, select the 2-4 projects for which you consider a) support from the The Capital Hub (see service offering in document linked above) to access finance is most needed, and b) have implementation priority for you.

  2. For each project selected, fill in the project intake form below with the required information. We strongly recommend doing this with the respective project managers and sector level experts.

  3. Information will be distributed to the Capital Hub team who will then revert to you in due course.

Your project title could be "Solar community project for the districts 3, 4 and 5”

Example sectors are renewable energy, energy efficiency, sustainable transportation, urban greening, district heating and cooling, carbon capture and storage...

Please indicate the name and email for the contact person(s) on this project which serve as first points of contact for the Capital Hub to start the accompanying process with.

Please explain a) the project aim & objectives, b) its scope and size, c) the timeline for planning and implementation d) whether it is a stand-alone project, further development of successful approach e.g. phase 2 or 3 of project extension.

Please explain how much of the project budget (CAPEX & OPEX) in % you require from which financier (e.g. municipality, national funds, utility, private bank, grant) and indicate which parts are already secured, which parts still need to be obtained e.g. 25% grant (non-secured), 30% municipality (secured), 45% private citizen & company financing (not yet secured).
