Martin Klintholm

Vice President

Martin brings experience as a green transition consultant and battery energy storage systems developer, with particular expertise in shaping municipal energy strategy, public guarantee frameworks, and designing public and asset finance solutions.

He previously worked with BDO, where he developed a service to help municipalities mitigate state aid risks related to guarantees for utility investments. Before that, he covered renewable energy finance at Jyske Bank and led public leasing at Danske Bank, financing utilities and harbour assets. His career includes a decade in the Danish central administration, where he shaped regulation governing municipal and regional access to finance and terms to join public private partnerships. He also served for six years on the board of the pension fund for public officials, now P+.

Martin holds a master's degree in political science from Aarhus University and has completed a Board Education Program at INSEAD.
