Shedrack Mwiine

Shedrack brings experience in economic research, data analytics, and risk modelling, with a focus on sustainable finance and blended finance solutions. Most recently, he served as an Economic and Statistical Research Consultant at Decarbonize Initiative, where he modelled long-term ROI for biochar and carbon credit projects. Previously, he worked at IDH The Sustainable Trade Initiative as a Business Analyst, serving as the primary data analyst for the Inclusive Business Analysis team and modelling large-scale farmer survey datasets. He has also held data analytics and actuarial roles at Srimad Rajchandra Institute and Kenbright Actuarial Services.

Shedrack holds a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from Strathmore University, Institute of Mathematical Sciences and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Financial Engineering at WorldQuant University and has just been accepted into the Master of Science (MSc) in Data Science at the University of East London. He is also a McKinsey Forward Program graduate and holds certifications in data science, project finance, and climate and carbon data intelligence.
