Highlights from Climate Week NYC 2026.

Highlights from Climate Week NYC 2026.

Two themes stood out for us during Climate Week NYC 2026. The first was resilience. With supply chain disruptions now showing up in company results, the conversation has shifted. Banks and corporates are no longer only asking how to measure physical climate risk for reporting purposes. They are asking how to price it into underwriting and investment decisions.

Resilience and adaptation are core focus areas for BwB through our Adaptation Centre of Excellence, which helps public and private entities assess their climate vulnerabilities and structure the financing to address them – from blended finance and guarantees to parametric insurance. It is encouraging to see such strong momentum behind an area we see as central to climate finance.

The second theme was commercial viability: structuring climate investments to attract private capital on their own merits, with less reliance on grant and concessional funding. Working at the intersection of public priorities and private capital, BwB helps   organisations prepare investable projects with that commercial logic built in.

Thank you to everyone who met with Harry Wain in New York.
