Heather Buchanan has over 15 years' experience working as a special advisor for All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) on fair banking, sustainable finance and anti-corruption in the UK Parliament, convening government, Parliament, regulators, financial institutions, industry, academia and NGOs around financial reform and sustainable finance. She co-founded Bankers for Net Zero, a UN Race to Zero Accelerator showcased at COP and Davos, and has led initiatives resulting in legislative change across climate finance, SME data infrastructure, economic crime, illicit finance reform, and sustainable investment.
Named as one of '20 Trailblazing Women in Climate' by Reuters, Heather was also shortlisted as 'Sustainability Leader of the Year' in BusinessGreen's Green Business Awards 2024 and as 'Leader of the Year' in BusinessGreen’s Women in Green Business Awards 2025.
