Last month, the BwB global team gathered in Girona for a week of in-person connection, collaborative strategic planning, and shaping actions to scale up our impact.
This year's retreat was built around working sessions: small-group discussions, hands-on strategy development, and a fast-moving simulation testing real-world decision-making – all in service of BwB's mission: mobilising capital for good and designing solutions that drive transformative, equitable change.
Highlights include:
- Interactive sessions on expanding our offering and deepening our impact across themes such as adaptation, security and resilience, urban transition, and nature and biodiversity
- Cross-team exploration of how we can further leverage AI and digital tools as finance innovators
- Knowledge exchange across projects to share wins and lessons learned
- Recharging through group workouts, shared meals, and social time together
